A FitPro-style watch takes its time from the phone, so setting the clock means syncing it rather than typing in hours and minutes. Sync after pairing, after travel and after a flat battery, and switch to the 24-hour clock with one toggle.
Sales checked September 2026Open the companion app with the watch connected; the sync copies the phone's time and date to the watch. To change the time, change the phone's time or time zone and sync again. The 12/24-hour switch sits in the app's settings, often under time format or units, and on some models in the watch's own Settings.
FitPro-style watches have no hands to wind and usually no screen for typing in the hour. The clock is set by the companion app, which copies the phone's time and date to the watch every time the two sync.
For most models, that is all it takes to set the time. The same sync sends the date, weekday and weather too, so a correct clock is a good sign the whole link is working.
Build that into a morning routine: coffee, open the app, read last night's sleep score. The clock stays right as a side effect.

| 12 or 24-hour format | App settings (time format or units); watch Settings on some models | Usually |
| Alarms | The app's alarm list; on the watch for some models | To set them, not to ring |
| Stopwatch and timer | Watch menu | No |
| Sleep window and do not disturb | App settings | Yes |
| Clock face style | Long-press the face, or the app's face gallery | Only for new faces |
Typical of FitPro-style watches and their apps. Menu names differ between FitPro, Da Fit, VeryFit, GloryFit and FitCloudPro.
Travel and daylight saving are the two moments the watch shows the wrong hour. The fix always starts on the phone: get the phone right, then sync.
Daylight saving works the same way. The phone switches overnight, and the first sync of the morning moves the watch.
| Situation | Why the watch is off | Quick fix |
|---|---|---|
| Long-haul flight | Still on home time | Phone to local time, then sync |
| Clocks go forward or back | No sync since the change | Open the app once |
| Phone set to manual time | The phone itself is wrong | Set the phone to automatic, then sync |
| App force-closed | No background sync | Reopen the app and allow background use |
Travelling without the phone for a few days? The watch carries on with the time from its last sync and catches up once the app connects again.

Military time is simply the 24-hour format: 18:30 instead of 6:30 PM. Runners reading split times and shift workers watching the end of a night shift often prefer it, and it takes one toggle.
Where the switch lives depends on the app:
If the app follows the phone, change the phone's clock to 24-hour, then sync. Both screens then match, which keeps a busy morning simple.
Changing the face is quick from the app gallery or by long-pressing the clock; the watch-face and wallpaper routine has the details, including faces built from your own photos.
Units matter for the same reason. Set kilometres or miles and the temperature scale in the same visit, so pace and weather read the way you think.
Rated for 10 to 14 days of regular use and 30 days on standby, so the synced time survives long weeks away from the charger. The 1.47-inch band also carries a built-in stopwatch for timed sets.
Strap it onWhen the battery runs completely flat, many budget watches lose the time and restart at a default date. A factory reset does the same on purpose, and the recovery is identical.
Avoiding a flat battery is easier than fixing one. Longer-running watches reset less often:
Charge on a fixed day, such as every Sunday evening, and the clock never gets the chance to stop. The charger pin sizes and charging steps help when the cable itself is the problem.
After any reset, check the step goal and sleep window too. They return from the app, but only once the watch is bound to the same account again.
Once the clock is right, it can run your day: a silent wake-up buzz, a nudge to stand, a reminder to drink water. Every one of these follows the watch time, so a correct sync comes first.
| Time | Watch job |
|---|---|
| 06:30 | Silent alarm |
| 09:00 to 17:00 | Sedentary reminder every hour |
| 12:30 | Step check: half the goal yet? |
| 22:00 to 07:00 | Do not disturb and sleep tracking |
Set it up once in the app and let the watch run it. Adjust the step goal after a week, based on what the dashboard shows as your normal.
Connect it to the companion app; the time and date copy over from the phone on each sync. Most of these watches have no manual time entry on the watch itself.
Change the phone's time or time zone, or turn its automatic time on, then open the app so it syncs. The watch follows within a minute.
No separate one is needed. The companion app the watch pairs with, such as FitPro, Da Fit, VeryFit or GloryFit, copies the phone's time and date to the watch on every sync.
Military time is the 24-hour format. Set it in the app under time format or units; on some models the phone's own 24-hour setting carries over at the next sync.
A fully drained watch can lose its clock. Charge it, open the app with Bluetooth on, and let it sync.
It follows the phone. When the phone switches, the next app sync updates the watch.
